My Name is Bruce
Well not really BUT the movie I watched yesterday was!! I liked it quite a bit, while not quite as subtle as Buba Hotep it had a definite charm - though to be fair a good part of that was because I watched the making of documentary "Heart of Dorkness"
Turns out Bruce Campbell directed it, they used his property as the back lot and most of his friends from over the years were in it. And those actors who weren't close personal friends were local Oregonian actors. I didn't realize that a chunk of his movie making clique really went back to his Jr. high school days- BUT I am NOT a fan girls in general - although if I was going to explore that dork and scary path I would likely be a Bruce Campbell fan girl. I Heart him
ANYHOO some gratuitous blood and guts but nothing realistic - just silly and fun.
