Jae Joon sat there with Bong Goon's unresponsive body in his arms. When he caught the crumpled form as the taller collapsed, he found himself unable to let go. He made sure that Bong Goon was comfortable, with the bigger man's back leaning against his front, as Jae Joon kept his arms wrapped loosely around the other's torso. An uncharacteristic surge of panic and something he couldn't define rose within him (whatever was inside a soul) at the sight of the usually lively being at such a vulnerable state.
He thought back to what happened just a few moments ago, wracking his mind for any sort of explanation as to what exactly had occurred for such a reaction to be brought from the soccer player. He thought and though, but all he could remember that could possibly of any significance was Bong Goon's claim to have heard a woman's voice-
"Calling him," he whispered in awestruck realization.
The sound of his voice stirred a reaction from the prone form in his arms, snapping him out of his chain of thought, as Bing Goon let out a stifled groan. Moving quickly, he lay the taller man down on the soft bed of grass, using his currently empty messenger bag as a makeshift pillow for the other.
"Bong Goon?" he whispered, worriedly gazing at the said man's face etched with a frown of discomfort. "Bong Goon-ah?"
Slowly, the other's eyes opened. At first, Bong Goon looked confused and disoriented, but one look at Jae Joon, however, brought everything back into perspective. Groaning, he made an attempt to sit up, only to be hindered by the surprisingly strong hands of the older male.
"Jae-?"
"Shhh..." hushed the other, making sure that Bong Goon didn't try to get up again. "You were out for quite a bit, don't strain yourself just yet."
"What happened?" Bong Goon groaned, clutching at his head.
"You don't remember?"
"It's kind of hazy," started the soccer player. "I remember grass, and wrestling, then..."
"You do remember," Jae Joon clarified, seating himself beside the younger man.
"I wasn't sure if it really happened," explained the other, placing his hand back to his side. "it all felt so surreal."
There was a brief moment of silence between them before Jae Joon decided to break it.
"Who was she?"
Instead of answering, Bong Goon turned towards the other man in question.
"The voice you heard," Jae Joon elaborated.
"Ah," Bong Goon exclaimed softly in realization, looking towards the ever-blue sky. "I...can't remember"
"You can’t-?"
"I mean...I can't tell," Bong Goon continued, looking bewildered as well. "But I know that I should...that I've heard that voice so often before."
"Maybe you'll remember when you wake up."
The taller male snapped his head towards the other once again, shock evident at the somber tone.
"What?"
"Haven't you noticed that you passed the postbox?" Jae Joon questioned, gesturing at the said landmark. "When you said you heard someone calling, you were able to get further away from…whatever this place is. Someone who really cares for you is calling you back, so I’m sure you’ll be leaving soon.”
“I…”
The raven-haired man remained still and silent, no longer preventing the soccer player from sitting up. Bong Goon wrapped his arms around his legs as he rested his chin on his knees in thought.
“What’s with you? You’re going to wake up soon, aren’t you happy?” Jae Joon asked, grinning at the soccer player.
“What about you?”
Jae Joon was caught off guard at the question, his grin quickly slipping from his lips. He looked away, facing the horizon, thinking for a while.
“I’m not-wasn’t-a very social person,” he explained, thinking back to the days when he’d work alone, away from the others who shared his line of work. “I don’t have anyone who’s going to look for me. I guess it’s my fault anyway. Maybe my place is meant to be here until I find a permanent spot on the other end of this field.”
“Don’t say that…”
“It’s true, Bong Goon. It makes sense. I don’t have anyone, I won’t wake up.”
“You have me.”
Jae Joon was stunned into silence at the pure seriousness of the other’s tone. His lack of response went unnoticed as Bong Goon continued.
“If you’re right, then Ill wake up. When I wake up, I’ll look for you.”
Jae Joon was able to snap himself out of his state of shock when Bong Goon turned to face him. He frowned in contemplation of what the other just said.
“You’re a spirit, Bong Goon-ah,” he replied. “You won’t remember this. You won’t remember anything that happened here.”
“I will,” and he sounded so sure that Jae Joon almost believed him. “I’ll wake up, I’ll remember, then I’ll look for you.”
Jae Joon didn’t have the heart to argue with the other man. Maybe he even wanted to believe him, but there was still a voice that told him not to get his hopes up, to doubt the words said by the other. But after getting to know this man, even for a couple of days, he knew that he couldn’t help but let some part of him trust that Bong Goon will pull through.
“Here,” he finally said, handing Bong Goon one of the feathers from his keychain. “Just it case.”
The taller male grinned at him, and he couldn’t help but smile back.
‘Bong Goon-ah…’
Bong Goon snapped to attention, and stood up at the familiar voice, as he suddenly felt a strong force pull on him. A soft gasp came from Jae Joon, who had stood up as well and was staring in restrained panic at the taller man. Bong Goon looked down on himself and saw that he was semi-transparent, fading at a rapid rate.
“I’ll remember,” he promised, wanting to assure the other.
'Bong Goon-ah…wake up…Don’t do this.’
“I’ll remember!” he said once again, clutching the feather in his hand, which was fading just as fast as the rest of him. “You better listen for me, ‘cause I’ll call you, and you better wake up!”
Jae Joon looked at Bong Goon straight in the eye, and was once again moved by the strong determination the other mad held within him. He raised his hands and clutched at the fist that was tightly grasping the feather.
“I’ll wait,” he said simply.
Bong Goon’s grin was the last thing he saw before the other vanished before his eyes. His hands fell by his sides, all energy drained from him. He barely noticed the wetness in his eyes as he dropped to his knees.

Bong Goon squinted, groaning as the bright light threatened to blind him upon his wake. He heard the sound of shuffling before the light was dimmed. He looked around and found himself in what he presumed to be a hospital room, by the looks and smells of the area.
“Bong Goon-ah!”
He turned to the source of the voice and saw a woman with short, wavy hair with tears in her eyes, looking ready to cry once again. She palmed his cheeks, checked his forehead, did everything to make sure he was actually awake, before giving him a tight hug.
“Oh…Gam…Ja?”
“Yah! I was worried, you pabo!” said Yeonyi, hitting him repeatedly, albeit softly as to not cause him any more pain that he might already be in.
The sudden movement caused something soft and downy to fall from his slack hand, but he was too winded from his recent wakening and reunion with his childhood friend that he wasn’t able to take notice of it.

A/N: For those who thought it was Go Ara…no need to worry anymore! XD I’ve always loved Yoonji and her characters, and nothing has changed yet! Hahaha. Anyway, hope you liked this chapter. :D I believe that the amnesia part of the actual drama was for the purpose of getting Bong Goon closer to Hae Bin, so I scrapped it out. Besides…if I added that, there would be a WHOLE lot more drama to deal with that won’t revolve around our boys. XD
Jae is the easiest to write here...'cause all I need to do is remove one letter, hahaha. I can't begin to tell you how many times I accidentally wrote 'Yunho.' XD
Anyway, yes, this is the second to the last chapter, which is why I made it longer than the others. :D If I make the series itself longer though, I might never finish it (although there might be an epilogue if I see it fit). What I might do is make this into a universe and make series of oneshot sequels if you guys want it, just say the word, because I already have a few ideas in mind. :)
Well, that's it for now, see you next time, which I hope is soon since I've got a break from work. Don't forget to comment! Comments inspire me to write/edit/upload faster! :D
