“Yah! Shin Jae Joon, Shin Jae Joon, wait!”

It took quite a while for Cha Bong Goon to register what the other said, and even longer to actually believe it, but by the time everything had sunk in, Shin Jae Joon had already walked a great way from where they were conversing, apparently making his way to the forest in the distance. Bong Goon immediately made haste to catch up.

“Yah, wait! You can’t just tell someone that they’re in a coma and leave!” he called, pushing his legs to quickly decrease the space between them.

To his relief, the raven-haired man stopped and turned to him, confusion once again written all over his features. Bong Goon stopped right next to the other, his grin back in place.

“So…”

“Why are you following me?”

“Eh?” replied the taller, scratching the back of his head. “Well, I have no idea what to do since I’m…well, in a coma…but I think it’s better that we stay together instead of just wandering around alone, right?”

Jae Joon looked at the soccer player for a second, before turning and resuming his pace, his boots softly rustling the grass beneath his feet. Deflating a bit, Bong Goon looked around to the area where the raven-haired man came from...as before, seeing nothing but grass and skies as far as the eye could see.

“Cha Boong Goon.”

He blinked at the soft voice, glancing questioningly to the other who had stopped walking to turn and face him once again. Jae Joon merely inclined his head that silently said ‘let’s go’ before continuing to walk once again.

The grin made its way back to Bong Goon’s face as he briskly walked to match the other’s pace.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

They had been walking in silence for a while before they reached the edges of the forest. They had gotten there quicker than expected, considering the fact that in Bong Goon’s eyes, the forest had been miles away from where he woke up. As they were about to enter the thicker parts of the area, a sudden wind began to blow, pushing Boong Goon backwards, making him instinctively raise his arms to shield his face.

“Yah!” he exclaimed, as he was nearly forced down on the ground by a strong gust.

The wind was getting even stronger, forcing him to back up a few paces before it died down. Lowering his arms, he was astounded to find Jae Joon far ahead of him, sporting the same look as him.

“Wha-what just happened?” Bong Goon managed to ask.

“I was about to ask you the same thing,” replied Jae Joon.

“Didn’t…I…you…” the tall male took a breath to organize his thoughts. “The wind…didn’t you feel that?”

“There is always a breeze when I pass here…but never strong enough to push me back.”

“But that was hell strong! How could it not have pushed you back too?”

“To be honest, that was the first time it became that strong…but maybe it was really meant for you.”

“What?”

“Congratulations, Cha Boong Goon-sshi…you’re not dying.”

“I’m not…”

“This forest is actually like a gate to the afterlife,” explained the raven-haired man. “The fact that you’re not allowed to even get marginally close means that you’re definitely not dying.”

“So…you’re dead?” Bong Goon asked incredulously.

“No, I just have a job,” said Jae Joon, shifting the messenger bag slung around his body.

--------------------

A/N: It seems that Jae Joon has been getting the last word in the past two chapters, hahaha. Well, that’s going to change in the next…since we’ve already established that neither of them are dead. XD XD

Look forward to the next chapter sooner…well compared to how long it took me to get this one up XD. it seems that this fic is gonna be longer than I originally planned, with the way it’s writing and dividing itself. 8D.

Basically, I have everything down in the original oneshot that I wrote…but since it’s abnormally epic for a oneshot…and incredibly unorganized in termed of transition…I’ve been dividing it up into chapters, and in doing so I take the opportunity to expound more on their emotions (or lack thereof…No offense Jae XD XD). *BRICKED* Next chapter’s gonna be a bit longer than the first two, though. :D

Lastly…take note that this won’t linearly follow the plots of HTTG or HP. I loved HTTG…until the point where they had to rush it since MBC decided to cut it *grumble*. And also take note that I have not watched Heaven’s Postman…I just know some details. So I unfortunately won’t be able to include Jo Ha Na in this storyline sinceI won’t be able to do justice to her character since I have no idea whatsoever how her character is developed. It’s an AU of two AU’s after all…so I hope you guys don’t mind. XD XD XD

I hope you guys enjoy!
