Pennsic dates and a movie - totally unrelated to each other
OK, these are two totally unrelated topics.
There have been rumors flying about the dates for Pennsic this year. I've checked the Cooper's Lake website, which I believe is possibly the most reliable source. According to the Coopers, Pennsic is July 30 to August 15. They have closed events scheduled on either side of those dates.
On the movie - if you've any interest in 17th century England, we recently rented The Libertine on a whim. The court of Charles II, with the lead charachers played by Johnny Depp and John Malkovich. The costumes are decent, and it was a powerful yet pleasant film to watch.
