So, I decided to participate at the National Novel Writing Month this year. As if I hadn't enough to do already. Writing is supposed to be fun, not stress.
I am teaching for real by now and it is not all that easy. There are so many things to mind, so many things to look out for (half of which is rubbish anyway but our teachers want us to at least acknowledge that certain things exist) - and in the end everything is void because the pupils have never heard about the great important scientific writings and do their own things. It can be fun. Like the little 7th grader, one of the worst troublemakers in the class. During a lesson talk about the rules of conversations in the class he said something like: "You should look and talk to each other lovingly."
That proves: even the worst machos-in-the-making can be cute.
And now back to trying to adjust my lesson plans to the pupils...
