Dave and I had loosely planned to meet on Tuesday when he was done work. I had spent the day with the girls, and he finished work at 10, so he was going to come down (he works in Markham) after. He texted me and said that he had to go to the lawyer with his mom in the AM (dead grandma money), so he couldn't come down. Sad. Next day, asked him to come down after I finished work, he had to work the next morning at 9, so couldn't. However, he suggested that he come over when I was done work on Thursday. He had this staff outing thing that he had to attend, so I didn't really know what the deal was. (we never really firm things up, just incase he can't end up coming). I sent him a few texts and got nothing back. At about 11.45 I sent him one that said, "I'll be done work by 12, let me know what you're doing". I got a text from him a bit after 1 that said "I ended up having to go to this other bar with this guy. If its any consolation, its lame" and I just said "Whatever, enjoy your night". I was pissed because he didn't have to continue drinking with this guy, and I was even more pissed because he said it was lame. 2am rolls around, and he texts me and goes, "Can I come over now?" and I said "I guess" Because while I was pissed, I still wanted to see him. He got here, and it was fine.
When we finally got out of bed today, we had lunch and then just kind of wandered around. We went to this park and swung on the swings. He pushed me/grabbed my ass everytime he was meant to push me. We drove around a bit (He doesn't know streets in my neighbourhood AT ALL), and it was just lovely really. I feel like we're getting kind of coupley, but I'm not really sure if I should say something about it. I'm happy to keep things as they are, it just makes for akward story telling, because he's blatently more then my friend, and man friend confuses people. People that know the story, obviously I can just say Dave, but if I tell a story about him at work, I kind of hesitate sometimes before I say friend, but its just the easiest thing to say. Ho Hum.
