He's definitely one of the better characters in southern folklore/music - see "Devil went down to Georgia".
Also, except for the great job (and that does mean a lot), my life is feeling a bit like hell right now. Please feel free to come visit me in Hillsborough (as long as you call first to make sure I haven't already escaped).
