Today my precious Mother Mons†er turns twenty-five and I couldn't be happier to have an excuse to dedicate a whole day to her. I love her with all of the blood pumping through my little Mons†er heart. She is my voice when I'm feeling weak and she is my inspiration when I'm listless. She's also my best friend when I feel used-up by everyone else.
I'm so happy to have her in my life. It's like this person who was lying dormant within me was awoken by the visual feast of her Bad Romance video. She makes my Pop Heart (which I had been trying to murder with My Chemical Romance and The Used during the middle years of my teenage-hood) so very happy. She woke me up to how much fun you can have with music and your image. I suppose I've always known I was bisexual but it was under her influence that I proudly accepted this fact and came out to my closest friends. I believe in the same things as her, like gay rights. She is the figure-head creating movements I can get behind and use my voice for good, for change. She's improved my life in so many ways and the only way I can repay her is to sing her praise near constantly and defend her to the death.
She's more than just a popstar to me, she makes my dreams come true every single day. She is a true performer, in every aspect of her life and she never disappoints. She has a distinctive look, taking things that might not have been mainstream before and presenting them to her huge, global audience. I can always depend on her to be dressed like a fierce bitch with unbelievable wigs and amazing make-up. After being a follower of hers for a year and a bit I have learnt that the only limit to her music videos and performances are my expectations, there is nothing Gaga can't do! She always puts everything into her videos. They aren't just pretty clothes and awesome dance moves, there is always something she tries to communicate in her videos and I love trying to figure out her message. I can get a new idea from one of her videos every time I watch it. Not only do I go back and re-watch the videos to learn the choreography, but I also study the storyline. She appeals to the nerdy side of me and I love to study her extraordinary personality.
She is also so kind and amazingly generous. She is a celebrity who uses her voice for good, I adore her for this. I wish people would talk less about her 'whacky' outfits and instead congratulate her on her charity work. She is doing great work with MAC VIVA GLAM and the Japanese Prayer Bracelets, all this makes me love her even more. The way she treats her fans is beautiful, she always wants to be her best for us and she is really trying to improve the life of her Little Mons†ers, she really makes me feel loved. I feel that she knows how much her fans love her and she loves us right back (she says it in practically every interview!). It's a wonderful thing to be apart of - one huge love-in, LOL!
I can't imagine my life without her, nor do I want to.
