(no subject)
i've never been to a valentine's day party except for once when i was about nine and it was for daddy's work. it wasn't very fun though and mostly i just stood with my parents in my nice dress and we went home before nine o' clock and from what i've seen on these journals that isn't proper party behaviour.
umm. anyroad. james and sirius have a very nice flat and the music is... loud and, you know, very good to dance to. there hasn't been very much dancing so far though, actually, mostly because people are a bit upset right now. just a while ago snape severus snape mr snape snape arrived and. erm. wasn't very well recieved, actually. he said that lily invited him, but that wasn't very well recieved either and then james came out and there was a bit of a kerfuffle. quite exciting, actually, but it felt sorry it had to happen at a valentine's party. not that those kinds of fights are good at any party, but valentine's day is just so... pink and nice.
things have settled down some now, but i think i'm just going to stick where i am with my punch. i don't really want to get stuck in the crossfire, and i've already seen a bit more of james potter than i would like (no offence!) and the music is just as nice by the wall anyway.
