Sleeping Androids Do Dream Electric Sheep

It's almost Thanksgiving, and I'm going home on Tuesday night.

I'll be at Old Navy on Wednesday night, all day on Friday (my third black Friday with the knavery), hopefully out before close, and out before close on Saturday.

Thanksgiving should be really nice. I'm going with my family to my Uncle and Aunt's house in Staten Island. Last year we had it there and we had a lot of fun. We made 2 turkeys and we deep fried one of them. Deep frying a turkey is an extremely dangerous and entertaining process. You have to do it outdoors if you don't want to risk burning your house down, and you have to heat oil in a pot to about 300 degrees. I was on fire extinguisher duty, and we basically all just stood around the pot laughing until the turkey was done. I hope we do it again.

I haven't been to Jim's to get cheesesteaks in a while. This bothers me. I wish my roomate hadn't gone home this weekend with his car. I've said it before, but there is no way to describe a cheesesteak from Jim's. A chessesteak isn't a steak with cheese on it either. A lot of people think that. There's a whole unique preparation of the beef and cheese and onions together on a hot table-like stove that is only seen in the competitive world of "cheesesteaking". They bear no resemblance to steaks. It's a food in a classification all it's own.

I finished my pen and ink project finally in design. I completely forgot to take pictures of it, or else I would have had those up to show off. It came out amazingly well. The mark making got screwed up in a couple of spots, but i did a good job of fixing it so it wouldn't look terrible. It's my favorite project that I've done so far in that class. I didn't have to paint it, so I felt like I could actually make it look the way I wanted to. As of late we've started some 3D work. I'll have pics of one of those projects up soon. I should be finishing it tonight. I've made a to do list that I keep on my closet door and cross off things from all day. I thought it might be annoying at first, but I'm actually motivated to get things on it done now. I used to just keep an index card on my desk. This is a full sheet of paper that I have to look at every time I do anything. It's a good thing.

Mean something to someone. Be well.
