It was Saturday, and early in the morning - around 5-ish, Chieko went over to Daisuke’s house because she wanted to see him before her audition. When she arrived, Daisuke was home alone, because the maids and butler had gone with his mother to the audition centre, to get things ready for the contest auditions.

Daisuke yawned as he sat up and stretched. He got off his bed, walked over to his window and pulled the curtains open. As he looked out of his window, he saw the post man putting the mail into everyone’s letterboxes. He blinked before turning around and walking to his door. He opened it and looked down the hallway to see if anyone was awake yet.
