hey kids, just wanted to give a quick update. im in boston visiting nissa. surprise. krissy...we ate at this restaurant called...99 and we thought of you ;)
i had a great trip here. i left last sunday and stopped at niagara falls, and drove along lake ontario. spent the night in cortland, new york and found the birthplace of millard fillmore. on monday i drove to boston but stopped at hudson new york to see the place martin van buren lived in. nissa and i went to maine on tuesday. on wednesday, we drove to concord, new hampshire in search of franklin pierces burial site. we even wrote him a poem...well more like a limmerick. it started...
there once was a man from new hampshire who was little more than obscure. he wasnt too fierce this franklin pierce. he had an amazing liver, but as president didnt delieverand he was a bad president for damn sure.
she cooked lobsters for us on thursday. (my first lobster) and i can say it wasnt too bad. but the lesson of that adventure is that i shouldnt name the lobster while its still alive...it leads to a bit of guilt after the boiling has commenced. RIP paulette. paige and i carved pumpkins after that. we went to salem on saturday (big mistake) it was insane. there were about 2323403294802938402938402938049209384 people. but salem is always fun so aside from the crowd, i had a ball...especially the musty ol museum of new england pirates. today we took the train into boston and walked around. i had the best bowl of clam chowder ive ever had. after today, i can say i may actually be warming up to this town.
tomorrow i am going to rhode island and the international tennis hall of fame and driving around in connecticutt for awhile. i still want to find the perfect new england town.
i havent decided if im going to stop in new york...im torn. i want to go but i dont want to deal with getting into and out of the city. stay tuned for that. but one thing that im definately going to hit on the way home...jamestown, new york...home of the i love lucy museum. woooohooo.

go obscure president hunting stockholm...it may lead to concord.
