Recently I've read some interesting things about the brain, and how it functions and stuff. Both the physical and physcological aspects of it. It was started with a national geographic article about the brain, and what a new understanding we have of it. It really is a unique organism. different parts do different things, but they can all do anything. I think a good analogy is theres a bunch of clones, and any of them can do any job at the car factory, but some paint and some weld and some lift etc. etc. When you go blind, you loose the machinery to see, but the cells are still there in the part of the brain that was used to see...so some of them take up new jobs...linguistics, touching, remembering. And if you have a stroke, where basically part or all of your brain shrivels up a prune, other parts can try and do the job, but thats like nuking a part of the factory, and no one knows what they were doing in there, so few people recover from strokes. I just think that is all really intresting, that different parts of the brain are bigger in different people and thats why different people ahve different smarts. You should all read up on your friend in there that you need so much
