I've been keeping myself busy, which I like. I started working the desk at Hayden on the weekends and it is going well. I feel bad sometimes that I'm actually not doing anything, but I guess that's the way it goes with a job like that. It gives me plenty of time to read and do my homework. Also, it is a very flexable schedule so when I need days off for rehearsals or shows I can have it. I also am volunteering at the New Repertory in Watertown on Sunday nights, I'm just ushering but I get to see shows for free!
I have to express once more how much I love the Fall, it is upon us now and it is wonderful. I can't wait for Halloween and Thanksgiving and the leaves to change.
Our Town is going well. I love the company and I've been asked to join the regular repertory group so I'm excited. They're going to be doing some interesting shows next year including a two man show I've asked to be a part of with my current director for Our Town. They show is about Ezra Pound and his imprisonment in Italy during WWII. He was changed with treason against the United States. The director is going to be this guy Tom Hunter who did some spaghetti western, and the author of the show will also be involved with the production. I would play the part of the Army private that is charged with watching Pound.
Which brings me to my next project, working out. I have to be a private in the army so I've been dieting and exercising, it has been good so far, lost about 15 pounds (haha, losing pounds for Pound). I've never been more motivated.
So, that's what has been happening.
