Summer Continues

Will Superman succumb to skin cancer?
Will Yossarian survive the madness of war?
What is the meaning of one man's life?
How do we change comics? How do they change us?

All these questions and more are in the offering of this week's reading selection. Actually finished with Garp already
and the three issues of All Star Superman, so it's back to Catch-22 which I had put down for a few weeks. Understanding
Comics is a combination art / literary theory presented in a unique and dense way, so it is slow going and bears much
rereading.

Painting the walls at school will commence this week in preparation for summer school, so several long days (with the accompanying journeys into night) are ahead wherein I will probably mess up some more clothes and get paint in my hair. Outside of what needs to be done at the U of T, I feel like I'm pulling myself in a hundred different directions at once. So many projects, not enough attention span. (A corollary to Jack of all Trades, Master of None?) Last summer was spent working on the failed Pixar app (and a good deal of time was lost to WoW as well). This summer will again be devoted to making short animated clips, with some forays toward print and metals projects.

More to be said I'm sure, but must head out to watch the Spurs crush the Mavs (hopefully).
