On Monday, Rosemary and I headed up to Waltham, MA to see
historygeek and her husband Ravi. And we met their baby daughter Elanor for the first time. She's such a bundle of cuteness, and upon seeing me decided to pose half the time. What can I say, the girls like me. Ravi took a job in Singapore, so they're moving away in a few days. We met for lunch since I'm missing their going-away party Friday because I have to work. Boo! But this way we ended up getting more face time.
After seeing them, we continued on to Cambridge to see Brian. Few things beat sitting on the porch drinking rum and cokes, talking movies, history and politics. It was
The funny thing is that I'll be right back in Harvard Square on Saturday. The
Kuumba Singers of Harvard College are having their 40th anniversary weekend, and while I can't make all the festivities, I'm attending the spring concert. I last went five years ago, so this is gonna be fun. I'm not sure who will be there, but maybe I'll learn the song for all the alumni to sing at the show.
And then I'm back in the Boston area again in mid-May. For what, you'll soon find out.
