I have made an appointment with my co-worker's doctor to check about my ab strains and pains tomorrow. I got a ride, so I'm all set. I just hope it's nothing serious, but I'll find out soon enough. I made a call to CIGNA just to check on whether I had to name a primary care physician, and they told me that under my plan I don't, nor do I need referrals to specialists as long as they're in the network. ROCK.

In other news, I attended a party Tuesday night. My fitness instructor Heather, who so lovingly pinched me during my body assessment, is leaving ESPN to work for Electronic Arts as a fitness coordinator. She invited me to the going-away party at the gym, and then further celebrations at the Wood-N-Tap in Southington. It was a good time of Stella Artois and shit-talking. I also met some new people and perhaps made some new friends to see around the campus.

Work should be fun tonight. Some basketball, and then I've got to get some research done for some games. Also, BottomLine is being restructured, and they're putting me in charge of the editorial part of what we do. So I'll be working on all our procedures and guidebooks, coordinating with the news desk, working on style, etc. Which means I have a whole lot to review, and soon.
