Promotions a-poppin'
Big news:
My mom is being promoted!
She has not officially accepted the position yet, but she's already in training for it.
She works for the city Law Department, in the Tax Unit, as a legal assistant supervisor. She now would be moving up to TAX ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATOR. Essentially, that puts her in charge of the Sherriff's Sales.
Yay Mom!
Now if some of that would rub off on me and I hear good things about this news editor job...
Today I may start my "sports supervisor" role at the paper, as Scott mentioned. I'd work with the sports writers and pull wire stories, work on layouts, etc. Fun!
