Monthly Update
Or so it seems.....
I have purchased my first home and am still waiting to obtain the keys and settle in. It does, of course, need some work that will be taken care of by my friend Yana's husband. He is graciously "hooking me up" with very cheap prices to perform my home upgrades. The almost next to nothing but cost hook up. Gotta love connections.
I would post pictures, but lets just say that the wallpaper (as 70's wonderland as it is) needs to come down first. Once I have begun the home transformation, I will post some pictures.
I am very tired these days. This whole process is overwhelming and draining. It certainly is not easy or easy going. I need a vacation.
I honestly think that my former roommate figured I had no intention of living up to why I moved out. I think she assumed that I was just moving back to my moms to get away from responsibility and whatnot. Well, I have done everything I said I was going to do. It is very hard to believe that I have, indeed, purchased my first home. Eeeeeek!
School is still kicking my ass, but I did have an awesome teacher the last 5 weeks who made the class go quicker and easier. He eliminated some assignments so that we could enjoy the in class discussions and have a life outside of work and school. I love teachers like that. It makes me pay more attention in class. And yes, I am still maintaining a 3.67 GPA--I kick ass!
