Who: Edward Nigma
What: Job Interview
When: shortly after noon
Where: New Office, Gotham City
Interactions: Cir-El
Warnings: none

Edward Nigma stepped into his office, noting with irritation that the hired workers still hadn't finished painting. He had wanted the tarps, cans, and new paint smell gone before today. He stepped over the tarps, peeved both by their slowness and by their seeming inability to pick up after themselves. When he finally reached his desk, Eddie unceremoniously dropped the load in his arms. The stack of folders scattered across the desk's surface, with a few pages slipping out. He glared at a close-up of the dead mutant's head lying next to the study on blood splatters found inside a bank vault, before sighing to himself and shoving the mess into some semblance of order so it could all be stuffed into the file cabinet.

Edward was beginning to feel a little strained, despite the sudden popularity his business was experiencing. Between working on two long, frustrating cases and furnishing a new office, he had plenty of reason to feel stressed. Although, if this next interview went well, matters would improve, at least slightly. Pushing thoughts of the other less-than-successful interviews out of his mind, Edward prepared for the new arrival. He pulled a question-marked chair up to the other side of the desk, salvaged the woman's application from the filing cabinet, and kicked the tarps into a corner, careful not to let them graze against the half-finished, freshly applied paint. This done, Eddie leaned against the desk, waiting patiently for the knock which should be occurring sometime in the next few minutes.
