{{"Heh, and what the hell d'we have here? Seems y'ain't got the sense t'keep to the laws of physics, girlie."}} Deadpool's voice was partially mocking, though he didn't much care whether or not he offended anyone, least of all a random chick he found in a school he was cruising for babes.

[Hey, stupid! Ever stop and think that this could be a babe worth cruising for? Bet you didn't, didja?]

He grunted at the little yellow box, which was curiously audible in this particular world. Likely because.. well.. he really didn't know why! It'd do, he guessed. Whatever.

"Ptsh."

Mia jerked her head up from the note in time to see another figure in a black and red costume, this time a man. That really seemed to be a popular color scheme today. It almost made her consider changing her own scheme. Maybe she would take on Kal-El's colors after all...But mentally she shook her head no. She didn't feel like she could pull that off. But back to the person at hand. His comment suggested he'd seen her little interlude with the clown faced girl on the roof.

"Ahh well...hm. I really have no response for that." She said and shrugged somewhat helplessly. What could she say really? That she wasn't defying the laws of physics by flying around? That would just make her sounds as stupid as she felt just then. "So are you with that girl Harleyquin? Or is the black and red just a coincidence?" She made a little gesture to indicate his costume, with a somewhat scrutinizing glance.

{{"Harley? Ptsh, no, I wouldn't be caught dead takin' sides with some DCU dorkette." he laughed as he stood, and stretched for a moment, "Villain wise, I mean. Sure, she's cute, but she's a real piece've work. Kinda funny I guess, if you like 'em distracted. Nah. Black and red's pretty much all these writers like to work with."}}

Deadpool walked smoothly down the stairs, hand on one hip, head tilted to the side as he looked Mia over, {{"I mean, honestly, y'get a guy like Supes now and again, bright blue or green, maybe even orange. But there isn't anything more gritty than red on black, it just says, 'Hey, I'm here to kick your ass!'"}} he posed, smirking beneath his mask, as he said that.

Then, quick as thought, he narrowed his eyes, {{"What about you? You tryin' to deke me out, keep me distracted while that gal swings around from behind?"}}

Orange, now there was one she hadn't seen yet. At least not that she could remember anyway. Like most people, Mia had no idea what he meant by DCU, and his talk of writers was just bizarre. But he wasn't trying to kill her yet at least. Of course now that he was asking her if she was in league with Harleyquin, she wasn't sure that wasn't about to change, so she shook her head, opening her hands palms out to show she wasn't any kind of threat.

"No. She dumped a bunch of smelly goo and fake gems on some students and I was...well it was too late to prevent the first assault so I was trying to stop her from doing it a second time." Mia responded sheepishly. She turned towards the door, pushing her hands into the pockets of her red cordouroy jacket. It was about time she got out of this building before people started mistaking her for a student.

{{"Didn't go over so well huh? Ah, no big deal, happens t'you newbie greenhorns all the time."}} he hopped down the last few steps, and landed lightly, smirking, {{"Don't worry though, ya get used to it. Can't be everywhere at once, huh?"}} Deadpool stretched his hands up above his head, lacing his fingers and leaning back slightly, as if he were relaxed.

{{"Name's Deadpool, though."}}

Exiting the building, she nodded. "I'm Mia" She told him. Simple and straightforward enough since she was in civilian clothes and didn't reallly have a 'moniker' yet. Outside, there were crews cleaning up the gunk that Harleyquin had dropped, but the smell was still there, and with a sticky, unavoidable intensity. It made her wrinkle her nose a bit and hurry to get past it and closer to the front gates.

"Man, even after she's gone that girl's still causing me trouble." Mia complained sourly.

{{"S'how it is with villains. They come on, cause trouble, and try to get away before you bash their heads in. I can take care've her for ya, though."}} he held up one hand, rubbing his thumb on two fingers, the universal symbol for cash, {{"Thing is I don't work for free, got it?"}}

Deadpool wasn't sure what he was doing there, or how he got there, but he was enjoying ribbing Mia, so it wasn't so bad just now. {{"Could always help with the cleanup. You'd be doin' more than BP does."}}

"Ahh...no no, that's fine." She said, holding her hands up embarrassedly. "I don't have that kind of money to throw around anyway" Mia scratched her temple, now feeling like maybe she should have stuck to chasing after Harley. Asking her to hire him for a hit in the middle of a crowded campus? What was this this guy anyway.

"Uhm...are you sure you don't have some place to be or...someone to kill or something?" She asked him as she turned onto the sidewalk and started heading towards a cross section. There was a coffee shoppe on the other side that was a popular hangout for lots of college students, It had been really close to being destroyed, but somehow survived the disaster a while back and now she liked to stop there from time to time because she liked the atmosphere and the muffins were good.

{{"Nah, I'm pretty bored today. Nothin' going on, so I figured I'd soak up some higher education, but if what I have to look forward to is spangles and sludge, I'd really rather not, heh."}} Deadpool smirked beneath his mask, {{"Coffee? I can pick up the tab, heh, ain't every day you get your buns toasted by Quinn." whoever she was.

His blank white eyes narrowed, and he looked back and forth surreptitiously for a moment, before angling his gaze to Mia, {{"So, how're the muffins there?"}}

Mia nodded as she crossed the street. "They are really good. I always come here when I want to feel well...normal." As she stepped onto the opposite sidewalk however she stopped, looking off into the distance for a moment before shaking her head. "Ah sorry, I gotta take off." She told him apologetically. "I'll take a raincheck on that coffee though!" After that she broke into a hurried jog, waving back behind her as she did before dashing out of sight. It took her mere seconds to find a place where no one was around and toss off her civilian clothes, reaching into her bag to grab her red coat before stashing her clothes in her bag and zipping off into the air at blinding speeds, heading toward the distant sound of sirens.

Deadpool stood scratching his head, and frowned to himself, shaking his head, {{"Superfolks. Can't ever just take one out for a coffee and a chat. Aw well, she did say those muffins were good."}} Deadpool was keen on checking that out, actually. He walked into the shop, sitting at a table and waiting for a waiter.

{{"You! I'll take a coffee, black, and a chocolate chip muffin."}} he didn't say please, just because he didn't much feel like it. What was the guy gonna do, not serve him?
