Birth Day
Today I turned 31.... wow, I kinda feel weird, I think this is the moment when you realize that you have entered a whole new decade in your life. This past year was really good, I think a learned many life lessons and I gained good friends along the way, and most importantly, I found a wonderful girl with whom I can share many things and be happy with.
I really feel happy with all the accomplishments I made in my 20's and I look forward to the surprises that my 30s will bring :-)
So last night, I was all alone at home, and I decide to celebrate at midnight, so I opened up a nice merlot and tried its flavor combining it at first with some strawberries, chocolate, grapes and three types of cheeses... it's interesting to feel the taste of the wine, combined with the texture, smell and flavors of the things you eat.. this merlot combined very well with the strawberries, the chocolate, and port-salut cheese.... a few minutes after midnight Cecilia came over with gifts and a beautiful card, we shared some wine, and had a romantic evening. It made me very happy :-).
