Only a little bit late! The last half-hour was editing. *sheepish*

For mik100, who had a headache and wanted fluff, and challenged me, in doubting tones, to write something happy. Or more specifically, to "turn off the angst and torture for five minutes and just let them make out" (paraphrased). ~3,300 words.

( The low-grade headache he's been ignoring all day is now slowly making itself known, coiling at the base of his skull, the back of his neck. )

Not-quite 2,000 words. This was a scene that got snipped from the last part of Catalysis, because I ended up writing the same scene very, very differently. But it's been sitting orphaned and unloved on my drive for a month, so I thought I'd take it out and polish it shiny. I suppose... PG-13 for boykissing and extremely casual states of dress?
