Oh ouch. I really like this; it's twisty chest in a good way. And of course it takes something this serious to get John to say something. Also, I like the use of the future tense here; that really worked.

This is a fantastic team story. I loved that John was completely unselfconscious about taking care of Rodney and how Teyla and Ronon were so competent and careful not to cause alarm.

The ending worked really well, especially with the earlier progression toward tragedy. You definitely had me worried, which made the ending all the sweeter. :-)
