Brrr...
Yeah, winter's finally here. November was unusually mild, but now we're making up for it with a pretty damn cold December. Had a brief cold snap last weekend and it's supposed to be even colder this weekend. The one thing I really love about cold weather is when you get to come inside after being outside. There's really no feeling like when you're freezing your ass off and then you walk into a nice warm apartment. :)
Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes after my stomach's TKO at the hands of bad milk. About a full week passed before I really felt back to normal. And I've finally built up the gumption to consume dairy products again. It's tough going without ice cream on occasion!
The Ice Eagles are now off until the first week of January. It's kind of nice, actually. Weekends are always so hectic when the season is going. It'll be nice to not have hockey for once this weekend. And when I have some days off during the holidays, I'll actually have days off. Hehe...
I can't believe Christmas is almost here. Geez...time really flies. On the 29th, Amanda and I will hit the 8-month mark. Seems like just yesterday when this all started. I guess you lose track of time when you love someone so much. :)
Really isn't anything else to mention here. Nothing terribly exciting going on, so I'll just leave it at that. If I don't update again before then, Merry Christmas to everyone!
