Busy busy busy...
What a week this has been. Work has been nuts. Monday, I was assigned two jobs with a Friday deadline. And they're both jobs that, according to our workflow standards, should take a minimum of 4-6 weeks each to complete. People more experienced than I have told me that they've never seen a single job like these completed in less than 7 business days. I have two of 'em. And after working my ever-lovin' ass off this week, I may actually get both of them finished Thursday. If not, they will definitely be done Friday, barring any unforeseen delays. Makes me feel good, knowing that I've kicked ass when nobody expected this to get done. Of course, I am incredibly exhausted. Ugh.
Not much else is going on. Been enjoying the pretty nice weather over the past few weeks...certainly not August-like. Things are great with Amanda, my new car is still great, and hockey season is rapidly approaching. I'm glad everything else in my life is so good right now, because work has been beyond crazy. I look forward to this weekend...time to sleep in and just kick back. Relaxation is good...so is sleep!
