To quote the great Arrogant Worms...
So things are okay. Enough time has passed now...I'm pretty much over the whole suicide thing. Still creeps me out a bit, but I've come to grips with it for the most part and I'm not going to let it bother me. Being upset or pissed off isn't going to do any good, and there's no way to understand what, to most people, is a completely irrational act. But to my uncle, it apparently made perfect sense, so who am I to argue with him posthumously?
Everything else in my life is great. I finally have a good car, I have a good job, I have my own place, I have a great network of friends, and I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy. Hockey season is quickly approaching, and I'm having so much fun getting stuff ready for the season even though it's still a couple months away. Tryouts are Sept. 4-5, and I can't wait to get back on the ice. It's gonna be a great season...
Things are great with Amanda. For those of you who haven't figured it out, we're not just friends anymore. It's a good thing. We're taking it slow and steady, so hopefully this one will work out better than my last endeavor. I think it will as long as we play our cards right. :)
Meanwhile, Andrea is apparently moving to Florida with her hubby-to-be because the Air Force is stationing him there. They're planning on getting married in October. Girl moves quick. And so officially ends another chapter in the tragic comedy that is my love life. Hehe...
And in other marriage news...congrats to Jen on her soon-to-be engagement that she hasn't yet mentioned on her journal because she neglects it so. Dork. ;)
BTW Jen...has your car dried out yet? You really shouldn't try to drive it through flood waters without a set of paddles or a sail...
Well, I don't really have anything else to mention, so I'm off to do more music production for the upcoming season. Woo hoo!
