Yes, I have officially become a boring adult. Not that I was ever terribly exciting in the first place, but now is worse than ever. Even only posting on here once a week, I never have anything noteworthy to report. Just the usual motions...
Another good sports weekend this week. The Ice murdered Wichita 7-3 and 9-4, the Blues shut out the Kings today, and the Ice Eagles beat Cincy 5-3 and 2-0. The Pacers killed the Sonics and beat the Knicks at MSG today, and Notre Dame managed to win another one in football. Purdue lost a heartbreaker in OT at Ohio State...that sucks. Hopefully the Colts will find a way to beat the Jets...
I'm actually looking forward to Survivor Series. I'm not terribly interested in any of the storylines, but I'm really looking forward to seeing a couple of the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches. That format will always be cool, and it's nice to see it back. The two McMahon matches will probably suck, and nothing really stands out as a potentially great match. (Jamie and Tajiri should be the best match on the show, but I doubt they'll get enough time to really do much.) Even if the show sucks, I always enjoy the monthly get-together at BDub's...almost makes me feel like I'm still in college and not such a boring adult! :)
So Friday was my last day at ECHO. My departure went much more smoothly than I expected...they were all very understanding and supportive, which is really nice. I'm rather nervous about starting at Keller-Crescent...this is a good position and I don't want to mess it up. Drop the ball once and you may never be given the ball to carry it again...
Eight days until Andrea leaves...
*sigh*
