Greetings! I'm Helens, and I will be your interviewee for the 11th of July. :)
1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?
I posted my first piece of fanfic in December 2002, so almost 5 years now. (This always seems like a big number until I run into people who have been around since the zine days XD )
2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?
Yep! I started out in TPM, moved to LotRPS by way of an RPG I was involved in at the time, spent some time in Highlander, and have dabbled in a bunch of other things.
3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?
Hmm... SGA proper, I like the characters and their interactions. I like John and Rodney and Radek and Ronon and Teyla and Weir and even Chuck the Technician. As for the fandom, I like the fact that for once I got into a fandom while the series was still airing -- I didn't discover TPM until after Attack of the Clones came out, so the fandom was slowing way, way down; I didn't discover HL until long after it had been off the air. It's neat getting to see a fictional fandom develop over time as the series evolves.
4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?
I'm pretty happy writing either, but I seem to need excuses to write romance/fluff more often than I need excuses to write angst. My angsty SGA fic seems to be outnumbering my romantic SGA fic 3:2 right now!
