I'd never heard that song. I don't like it much -or maybe I just don't like the guy's voice xD. I think Scorpions' "Still Loving you" is TEH power ballad! (Whitesnake's "Is this Love" is close)

Oh my, I'm so old hahaha! (well, in my defense, I knew them later, I was too young in the 80's)

I must say I never gave into the cheesiness of "I don't love you". That one failed for me!

"Still Loving You" makes me cry until today. Seriously, I remember when I was at Scorpions' concert, a lighter in my hand and singing the lyrics and crying.
