I was going to ask, "I wonder how differently people would act if they knew you only did those special little things for them."
But then I thought, "But, it doesn't matter, does it? Because the reason you do them isn't to try and get them to notice. The point isn't to try and impress them. You do it because you want to, because you feel it's right."
