The Weak Ender
You'll notice that the title is not the Weekender, but the Weak Ender. This is, in part, due to the fact that POTC:AWE (it's "cur-IB-ee-in") came out this weekend, but it's also because it's Memorial Day weekend, which honors those Heroes, whose ends are, on other days, understated.
So, to all those that have died in the military and all those in service, I send you my thanks for defending our freedom. I'd send a 21-gun salute, but knowing my luck, I'd shoot myself in the foot. Thank you, for all your service; you are truly America's heroes.
On to POTC:AWE. I didn't like the second one mostly because its ending was weak. Its ending's sole purpose was to set up for the third movie. I haven't seen the new one, but I'm guessing its ending isn't as weak, but it is called "At World's End;" my guess is this has something to do with travelling to the end of the earth to retrieve Jack Sparrow. When I think of at Alan's End, and what comes out of Alan's End, I can only think of what can come out of World's End. Apparently, whatever it is, is equivalent to Jack Sparrow. But, then again, I don't know Jack.
