Things are going ok I suppose... I'm pretty bummed with my whole situation and pretty unhappy with just about everything in my life right now. I know I just need to be positive and ride things out, but its been a hard couple of weeks.
I bought a little house up here in Cumberland, MD and my dad and little brother helped move me in this past week. I have to tell you that dropping them off at the airport was pretty sad :( I really miss having my family around and I wish I were closer to them.
On the brighter side, I only have to be here for a year before I can put in for a new job and there is always a chance that I will get moved before the year is up, but that is a slim chance. Our corporate HQ is in JAX so hopefully I can get a cool job there within the next 5 years and then I'll be a lot closer to home...
I want to start working on my MBA and I have begun the process to apply for a completely online program through Florida State University. I believe that getting it through FSU will be diversifying myself a bit, but people I have talked to said that I need to go out of state somewhere. As far as I know, an MBA is an MBA is an MBA. I just need one so that I can go further up with CSX and get a sweet corporate job in JAX.
