Tina was having a terrible morning. She'd been on edge over since Friday's glee rehearsal, and watching a movie at Artie's later that night hadn't helped her relax as much as it should. She still felt uneasy about her growing feelings for her best friend.

And of course, while lost in distracted thoughts about her emotional situation, she got slushied this morning upon walking into school. Super sour watermelon was ironically fitting for her mood, but she was far from seeing the humor. Tina had removed most of the the slush from her outfit, but it was still covered in dark splotches as it dried, and the aroma wasn't going away nearly soon enough ( ... )

Quinn had been unaware there was anyone else in the bathroom with her and the other girls, and the slam of the stall had made her jump slightly. Composing herself quickly, she looked down to smooth out her uniform before she recognized the girl's voice at her back. She looked up slowly, meeting Tina's eyes in the mirror, and had to swallow the shame she found herself feeling before she spoke.

"Tina," she stated coolly, hiding any and all signs of discomfort. "You shouldn't make it a hobby to lurk in bathroom stalls and eavesdrop. It's weird,"

Tina shook her head at Quinn, her eyes remaining fixed on the blonde in the mirror. "Of c-course, Quinn! That's why I do it - it's not like I have a purpose for being in here, I'm totally here to f-freak you out so I can get the school talking about me more." She spat out the words sarcastically.

Tina stepped forward and turned to look the girl in the eye. "You still didn't answer my question." Her hands were in fists at her sides, but for the moment her voice was low and icy.

Quinn quirked an eyebrow on the girl as she watched her in the mirror, before turning around to face her. As Tina met her eyes, Quinn couldn't deny the pang of guilt that hit her - why did she care what Tina thought? Tina didn't matter; not really, anyway, in terms of social gain.

"I have no damage," Quinn repeated the girl's term with condescension, looking down at her. She brought her hands to rest on her hips after she finished smoothing down the fabric of her skirt. "But thank you for your concern, really."
