The Magnificent Seven, Mark 2

Just saw it for the second time. Not a polished product like my beloved John Sturges film - too much shooting, too much action, too much determined Space For Diversity. And yet. The darker heroes (and heroine) make sense. Goodnight Robicheaux (sp?) and Billy Rocks are so definitely a couple (am in the process of reading up whatever fanfiction there is about them, as well as whatever Houdini and Doyle fanfiction there is).
p.s. Have just turned 70. Officially an Old Woman. And definitely no longer likely to fall in love or to have anyone fall for me. But inside me there's still a 10-year-old boy trying to get out. There are also a reckless young woman, and a language learner, and a traveller. On the whole, not an unhappy crowd. We'll all rewatch the John Sturges film some time soon.
