My imouto was due to go on a cruise today, she was really excited first trip overseas and all that. Kaasan was driving down to see her off. She booked and paid in full for it in Feb, has her boarding pass, luggage tickets, shore tour vouchers the lot.
She got a call and midday yesterday - less than 24hrs before she was due to board the boat - to be told 'sorry we've overbooked your cruise by 80 people and you can't go'
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You don't overbook by 80 people!!!! I mean wouldn't you notice that you have 8 names in a 4 berth room????
They have offered her pretty sweet compensation but it still doesn't change the fact she now has holidays and nothing to do on them :( :( :( She's really down about it and of course now we are all in Brizvegas with nothing to do. Hopefully with all the reimbursment paperwork she's due to get there will be a letter of explanation.
