What happened to all the free Wi-Fi?

First airport post to my jounal. It's 1:14AM at home but here in Las Vagas its only a little after 10:00PM. This is the first damn place the whole trip that has offered free internet access. Cleveland airport wanted money, Denver wanted money, Orange County airport wanted money and of course the hotel I stayed in (The Queen Mary) wanted money.

SurlyCurmudgeon is right about Starbucks. All have free access, as do *most* coffee houses around. Especially the smaller bookstore types (not Barnes & Noble, etc...the smaller ones).
