Since I'm up...

It's too early to be up... or too early to not have gone to bed but I've got some packing and stuff to do because I have to go to Tokyo today and I'll be at a work conference next week in Chiba....

Suffice to say, I am looking forward to going to Tokyo coz I get to see shayera whom I have not seen in ages... we will hopefully try a Malaysian place in Ikebukuro. In addition I am looking to change some money for my upcoming trip to Taiwan in Golden Week... my prefecture doesn't quite stock Taiwan Dollars. If anyone has any tips on where to change money in Tokyo (Shinjuku-Shibuya kinda areas) let me know. I am just going to try a big bank - Sumitomo Mitsui in Shinjuku is opened 7 days a week.

I'm dreading Tokyo a bit because I always end up spending more money than I mean to and I get annoyed by how crowded it is and how faraway things are. I like cities like Kyoto, Sapporo, Osaka or Sendai that are more compact and just easier to find everything in one spot. Plus I always find good food in those cities but in Tokyo, I always end up eating non-Japanese food because I don't know any good-ish cheapy places.

Anyway, here is another pic of Nagano at the beautiful Monkey Onsen Park.
