Tule Fog
Yesterday I was pleased to wake up to dense fog ... even better would have been if it had rolled in early Thursday night. I really enjoy walking in the fog. It is cold, but inviting. The humidity feels good, and Christmas lights look awesome as the tiny droplets of water vapor light up and sparkle.
I've known that many people in the Sacramento Valley dislike the "Tule Fog". But I was pleased today to see an article in the paper writing about how another group likes it.
What is more interesting is I record fog days in my CoCoRaHS station blog, and before that I've kept a mental note about how frequent it has been foggy. Sadly in recent years I've felt that we've had less and less of it. Apparently the paper was suggesting the same.
