Feeding the Political Monkey

Take a look at that for awhile, let it all sink in as you examine that picture. Doesn't it shock you? On some deep, spiritual level can you feel that image not only burn in your brain, but also ring some sort of truth? You see folks, as I saw that image, a myriad of thoughts came rushing into my brain, and unless I get all of this out then I'm going to annoy the absolute hell out of some of you.
The thing that shocks me the most about that picture is that with the right amount of back door politics, it could be true. I know dubya isn't smart enough to tie his own shoes, much less be some sort of great political mastermind, but think about all of the people he has had around him during his hijacking of the American presidency. Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, two political tacticians who have been around since the Nixxon administration, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales, John Ashcroft. All of them brilliant Tactical minds in the ways of politics, all of them having major ties to the bush administration and all of them having a hand in the boy kings upbringing.
Ever since the start of this war in '03, this country has slowly been turning into a totalitarian Regime, our freedoms slowly shucked away little by little to make way for safety and security, our very privacy taken away for the expense of something as base as "National Security". With the induction of the Patriot Act and the inception of Homeland Security, the people have been having the government dictate what to do, how to think, where to go, and who to hate. This is not a new thing folks, I'm not bringing up any radical new ideas I'm just getting the political monkey off my back.
Since the bush administrations rise to power, Oil Prices have soared to numerous record highs, the housing market has collapsed, and the economy has had the bottom literally ripped out from beneath it, all for the sake of a few rich white people making money of the suffering of the middle and lower class. Even now, as the bush administrations reign of terror draws to a close, Gas Prices have risen to a level that I haven't seen in all of my years of exile on this miserable plane. The only times I have seen this sort of nigh blatent price gouging is in countries where the Government has literally been changed into a Dictatorship. My own crackpot belief in this sudden spike in gas is that the oil companies and those in bed with the bush administration know that the days of easy money are drawing to a close (Vote Obama '08) and they are trying to squeeze the American people for every last penny they can before change sweeps through.
The Patriot Act was passed because Americans were afraid, and, with that said, bush having a third term is a very real possibility. Granted I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who has thought of this, but think about it. If the people pulling dubya's strings were to say the right things, promote the right cause, then we could very well see bush in a third, or possibly fourth term in office, and the reason for this is the same reason the Patriot Act was passed, fear. Everyone knows that white christian conservatives are the X-Factor in any election, they come out in droves to make their voices heard on issues that America at present cannot handle. For the first four years of his alleged presidency, it was clear to anyone with a brain that dubya's plans were crooked, that he was running this country into the ground over American Pride. Now, eight years later, some of you have seen the error of your ways, but that some is still not enough.
I guess what the one thing I want you to walk away from this rant with is this: Question Authority. Don't sit idly by and let this happen again, don't let the Government scare you into falling in line, think.
