so we kinda have a new president. it's the same old bush, but now i don't see a reason why he would maintain a moderate front, seeing as there's no chance of re-election. should be an interesting 4 years. and by interesting, i mean long and painful. i realize that there is a good amount of permanent damage that could be done in the next four years, but to that i say...fuck it. when i thought about it, it makes just about zero difference to me who is president. i don't pay taxes, i will not go to war, i will not be attacked, i will not need an abortion,i do not require government subsidies, i will not be receiving social security any time soon. really, on a personal level, i could survive with out anyone in the white house. but if i appreciated the president, what would i complain about (other than maybe the majorities in all the other branches of government) really, bush is a fucking button pusher, and even with a somewhat (key word, somewhat) liberal president, majorities in the legislative branch are tough to overcome. so, whatever. long live self sufficiency (aka: masturbation).
