Yuck. 10 hours is way too long to spend at work. Mark had jury duty, so I got to work about 7:15. He ended up being put on a panel and then was selected as one of the jury members. That left me at work until 5:15 when he got released and showed up at work to get me. Matt was in the car (ugh). We had to take him to Portland, which sucked ass. (No Kevin, not Portland, OR...Portland, TX lol)
I think we got home right around 7ish. Too fucking late. It's been such a long day. I want to go to sleep right now, but I have to record something for my mom at 9. *sigh*
Parents: please teach your children that it is NOT okay to cross the street as a car is coming towards you. And parents, make sure that when some idiot pre-teen decides to do it, that your 10 and 7 year olds do not follow suit. If Mark hadn't braked when he did, there would have been some kiddie soup. I wanted to follow them home so I could tell their parents, but we decided against that. Seriously, why are you gonna let your daughters go and play in/near a ditch anyway? Or maybe...you have no idea what your kids are doing when they're outside!
ISS was good today. Had 8 kids - only did the 30 min. lunch. I think I prefer that time. I'll be doing the breaks and lunch at various times over the next 30 work days...I can do this.
