Eleanor has achieved forward motion. Until about a week ago, she was only able to scoot backwards. Now she can charge forward on hands and knees like a tiny bull, and is also learning to pull up to a standing position. She is very satisfied with her new independence. Since Salal went back to work in January, I've been using my saved-up vacation days to stay home with Eleanor every Monday. (My mom has been watching Eleanor each Wednesday, Salal's other work day.) Tomorrow is the last of those vacation days; I run out of paid time off just in time for Salal's summer vacation to start.
