So since Picocon, taken an ITQ Database software module, and passed with a score of 92% (a suprise as I didn't compleat the course work). I've also signed up for the next module, I'm intending to work towards a BCS ITQ2 IT User Skills Diploma.I've taken 5 modules so far and have up to 8 more to go, but I'm half way there ( Read more... )

Last Saturday week I woke up with a muscle spasm in my left calf muscle. It had tightened to the size of a tennis ball and was very painful for a few minutes. After it finally relaxed I did have some issues with walking, so had to take the train to town, instead of as usual walking ( Read more... )

So after over ten hours sleep I got up and we went off to IHOP for brunch I had ham and scrambled eggs with all you can eat pancakes, I had 8 altogether! We then did various stops, I got some postcards and bought some trousers at Walmart. We also got cat food and some books, on sale at the library. I've continued to suffer from cold / flu / asthma so I finally visited the Doctor last night. She said I'd probably had a mild viral infection exacerbated by my asthma, I need to increase the use of my inhaler by 4 times and it should resolve. It already seems to have had an impact.

Since I discovered Blood Ties was being turned into a TV series I thought I'd re-read the series that inspired it. I've just finished the last short stories. Which Tanya Huff has said will be the last in the Vicky Nelson series. I hope that she gives in to the lure of future short tales ( Read more... )
