I got up fairly early (for a Saturday) this morning and went into town to do my shopping. (Walking as I don't have or need a car). Bought some bits and pieces and got home in the early afternoon of a delightfully sunny day

I love the concept of the birthday poster, but it's so *very* pink, I can't help wishing they'd done it in brown & silver, all "right & proper".

About shopping: backpack or string bag?

It's really red, as this is the colour of my "library / tv" room. (carpet, curtains etc.)

I have a wheeled shopping trolley, it's black with red piping.

I've been thinking about getting one of those, kind of like a milk crate with a handle and wheels. It'd be super for book sales!
