Just thought this was comical

I am right this minute looking at the various sites to settle on and order my new Desktop. I thought I had settle on an All-In-One a week ago and then I found a second one I really liked (that had a 4.7 out of 5 consumer rating and all kinds of rave reviews) BUT then read some reviews from whoever the people are that "compare PCs" and they had a lot of bad things to say about All-In-Ones so I'm back to a state of indecision.

But that's not what this post is actually about.

What I'm finding comical is that the various systems I've clicked on to check out their specs have one of two operating systems: Win 7 or XP. Vista, it appears, has vanished like the bad dream that it was. And then I found them... the machines that are still loaded with Vista and (here's the comical part -->) those machines seem to all be coming with an "optional downgrade" in the form of XP Pro reboot CDs. So, even if you do get the unfortunate displeasure of purchasing a Vista machine, at least Microsoft has decided to throw XP Pro Recovery CDs into the package so that you can "repair" your brand new computer and get their utter failure, aka Vista, off the computer.

How bad must an OS be if the company that makes it is throwing in CDs of their old OS just to keep consumers buying these new computers? Apparently as bad as Vista! LOL
