Squee! The Uni has finally obtained the rights to Windows 7 so I will be heading over to the computer store after work to pay my $20 and get Vista the hell off my machine!!!
I don't know how good (or bad) Windows 7 will be but it really can't be worse. The one they bought is Windows 7 Ultimate. I don't know what "Ultimate" is supposed to stand for, but I'm going to guess it's similiar to a "Pro" type thing. Regardless, "Ultimate", "Standard", or "Just enough to be better than Vista"; I'll take it! lol
And I'll leave you with a bit of Christmas cheer this morning:
I didn't feel like messing with the full sized tree this year (I have both sizes for just this reason) so I put up the "leetle tree" (<- a DCer reference). And I bought new decorations to (sort of) match the color scheme of the apartment in apple and a bright pink. My phone takes crappy pics, but here's this year's 'festiveness':
Aww, crap. The fuzziness of the bad phone-pic makes the apple green ornaments not even show up. Well, where ever you see 'bare' just imagine apple green in those spots. LOL Oh, and yes, the dragonfly on top is blue (they were out of the green ones :) )
