oh la la
So, I've said it before and I'll say it again, SUMMER ROCKS!! I like taking things more slowly right now and not live from deadline to deadline. I do, however, miss everyone a ton!! I miss having play dates and late night talks and that whole college do whatever you want thing. I miss the chubby girls, and I miss Laura, Kelsey, Todd, and Juan and everyone in the crazy GV music department. It's so weird to see them all day every day for 8 months, then one day I'm 2 or more hours away from them and I don't see them at all. It's a totally different world that I miss terribly.
But I must say I do love just watching movies on Kate's couch every night and just talking and laughing at stupid things and just making the most of our summer, which has just officially started for Miss Kate the high school graduate . It'll definitely be hard to see her go to Chicago, since I've gotten used to coming home and her always being there. So, it'll be sad, but I'm really excited for her. I'm really glad I have her around.
Catherine moved to New York the other day for 4 months and won't be back until after I'm back at school. So I don't know when I'll be seeing her again, which is sad, but I'm so glad she got this opportunity. Other crazy part of life I guess.
I finally got a job at Dairy Queen!! Which can be fun, but can really suck. My boss is an asshole and most of the girls there are 16 and 17 year old bitches. But I do get paid pretty well and I get a lot of hours. And it's really easy if you know your shit. So it'll definitely be a great summer job. I think I'm going to be getting some voice students soon too...SWEET!
Anyway, a brief update on my boring life. Hair dyeing time!!
