I generally don't go in for the New Years Resolutions - I don't think I've ever managed to accomplish one. Ever. But I came up with an idea that I think is worth a shot - I'm going to try to read a book a week

i quite enjoyed Cat from Hue. interesting and very readable even when the author is clearly a mental or emotional trainwreck. and his self-aware honesty about being a trainwreck is illuminating as not atypixal for that time and place.
