Think pretentious room/house/area of some type -- that is an ostentatiatory. I actually like saying it outloud: ostentatiatory, ostentatiatory, ostentatiatory.
I can think of several people's homes that fit this bill (my ex-laws, for example). Or at least they *aspired* to live in an ostentatiatory.
